Shipping & Delivery Policy
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how Wavefoods / Wave International (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes, dispatches, and delivers orders to approved trade customers across New Zealand. Our commitment is to provide reliable, timely, and cost-effective delivery services.
1. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to the following regions:
- Auckland & Greater Auckland
- North Island (selected areas)
- South Island (via freight partners)
Rural and remote deliveries may have longer transit times or additional charges. We will notify you if delivery to your location requires special arrangements.
2. Delivery Timeframes
Typical delivery timeframes:
- Auckland: 1–2 business days
- North Island: 2–4 business days
- South Island: 3–6 business days
Delivery times may vary due to stock availability, order volume, freight delays, or public holidays. We will contact you if your order requires additional processing time.
3. Order Cut-Off Times
Orders received before 12:00 PM on business days are usually processed the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next business day.
4. Freight Charges
Shipping costs depend on:
- Order size and weight
- Delivery address
- Freight provider rates
- Special handling (e.g., fragile goods, pallets)
Standard freight charges will be shown on your invoice. Large pallet shipments may be billed separately based on carrier pricing.
5. Delivery Requirements
You must ensure:
- Someone is present to receive the goods
- Clear access for the courier or freight carrier
- Delivery instructions are accurate
If no one is available at the time of delivery, redelivery fees may apply.
6. Damaged or Missing Goods
Please inspect your goods immediately upon delivery.
You must notify us of any:
- Damaged products
- Missing items
- Incorrect items delivered
All issues must be reported within 24–48 hours with photos for verification. We will investigate with the freight provider and arrange a replacement or credit where appropriate.
7. Click & Collect (If Offered)
Click & Collect may be available for approved customers at designated locations. Collection times will be confirmed after your order is processed.
8. Backorders
Items not currently in stock may be placed on backorder. You will be notified of:
- Estimated arrival times
- Alternative product options
- Split shipments, if applicable
